Wilhelm Krull

Wilhelm Krull (born 1952) is a literary scholar. He worked at the University of Oxford, the German Council of Science and Humanities, and the Max Planck Society. From 1996 to 2019, he served as secretary general of the Volkswagen Foundation. He was also the founding director of THE NEW INSTITUTE and held numerous positions on national and international supervisory and advisory bodies. His publications include Zukunftsstreit (2000) and Research and Responsibility (2011).
