Wilhelm Janssen

Wilhelm Janssen was born in 1955 on the East Frisian North Sea coast, the fourth of nine children in a craftsman- and working-class family. He grew up on his parents’ farm and completed commercial training before working in the commercial field for many years. His interest in the history of foreign cultures led him to the history of Easter Island.
