Veronique Sina (PhD) is a media scholar. She worked as a research associate at the Institute of Media Studies at Eberhard Karls University Tübingen and in film studies and media dramaturgy at the Institute of Film, Theatre, Media and Cultural Studies at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. Her research has focused on gender and media, comics and intermediality, remediation, media aesthetics, media and cultural theory, Holocaust studies, and Jewish cultural studies. Her publications include the monograph “Comic – Film – Gender: Zur (Re-)Medialisierung von Geschlecht im Comicfilm” (2016) and the edited volume “Notwendige Unzulänglichkeit. Künstlerische und mediale Repräsentationen des Holocaust” (2017), co-edited with Sarah Heindl.
