Valeria Parrella

Valeria Parrella, born in Torre del Greco in 1974, is an Italian writer. She studied linguistics and worked as a bookseller, actress and sign-language interpreter. Her first short-story collection was published in 2003 and received the Premio Campiello for best debut. Her works published in German include the short-story collection “Liebe wird überschätzt” (2017) and the novel “Versprechen kann ich nichts” (2021).
