Udo Pollmer

Udo Pollmer (born 1954) studied food chemistry at the University of Munich. From 1981 onward, he worked as a self-employed science journalist and also as a consultant and lecturer. He taught at Fulda University of Applied Sciences from 1991 to 1999 and at the University of Oldenburg from 1994 to 1996. In the mid-1990s, he founded the European Institute for Food and Nutrition Sciences (EU.L.E.) and assumed its scientific leadership. Pollmer published numerous works, including several books on nutrition.
