Tanya Akhmetgalieva, born in 1983 in Kemerovo, Siberia, studied at the State Academy of Art and Design and at the PRO Arte Institute in St. Petersburg. As a visual artist, she worked with installations, painting, and objects, combining these forms of expression. In 2015, she received the Sergei Kuryokhin Award in the category “Work of Visual Art”; she also received numerous other awards.
