Sven Zimmermann

Sven Zimmermann was born in Rostock in 1966 and began his musical career there in 1982. Until 1989, he studied bass at the conservatory and voice at the music academy. He worked as a singer, guitarist, bassist, lyricist, and composer, and was a member of the North Frisian band Godewind for eleven years. He also founded rock and pop schools in Kiel (1997), Rostock (2000), Lübeck (2004), and Russee (2011). In addition to his work as a musician and teacher, Zimmermann worked as a choir director, photographer, photojournalist, author, and business coach.
