Sun Tzu

Sun Tzu, also known as Sun Zi or Souen Tseu, is traditionally regarded as a Chinese general and military strategist who lived or worked around 500 BCE. Little is known with certainty about his life, and his historical existence and the precise date of his activity remain subjects of debate. He is traditionally credited with The Art of War, one of the oldest known works on military strategy. The book emphasizes deception, espionage, mobility, and the possibility of overcoming an opponent without open combat. Its principles were later adapted to broader approaches to conflict resolution and business strategy.
