Sabine Pemsel-Maier

Sabine Pemsel-Maier (born 1962) is a German Catholic theologian and scholar of religious education. She studied Catholic theology, philosophy, German studies and education, and holds a doctorate in theology. After working in academia, at a secondary school and in adult education, she became a professor of Catholic theology and religious education at various higher-education institutions. From autumn 2014, she taught dogmatics and its didactics at the University of Education Freiburg. Earlier in her career, she taught at a German secondary school.
