Rainer Waterkamp

Rainer Waterkamp worked as a political scientist, travel writer and travel photographer. He was deputy editor-in-chief of the Vienna-based magazine Reise-Journal and wrote and photographed numerous reports for German and international magazines and travel periodicals. His publications include travel guides and illustrated books on Rajasthan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Australia, Peru, Bolivia, South Africa and Mali, including Highlights Peru. He visited Rajasthan regularly over many years; some of his books were also published in English, French, Czech and Italian.
