Peter Schreiner

Peter Schreiner (born 1955) is a German scholar of education and religious education. He worked at the Comenius Institute, a Protestant centre for research and development in education, and served as its director for a period. His main research interests include the philosophy of education and the concept of “Bildung”, comparative religious education, and intercultural and interreligious learning. Schreiner was also involved in European organisations and professional networks concerned with religion and education.
