Peer Augustinski (1940–2014) was a German actor and voice artist. After studying acting at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Berlin, he began his career in theater and became widely known through the television show “Klimbim.” He also appeared in comedy and crime series. As a dubbing artist, he provided the German voices of actors including Robin Williams, Dudley Moore, and Jeff Daniels. Among his best-known roles were Genie in Disney’s “Aladdin” and Woody in “Toy Story” and “Toy Story 2.” Augustinski also worked as an audiobook and radio-play narrator, recording works by authors including Terry Pratchett, Wilhelm Busch, and Roald Dahl.
