Nikolaus de Palezieux

Nikolaus de Palézieux, born in Zurich in 1950, was an author and translator. He studied musicology and art history and worked for many years in broadcasting. He published books on music history, some of which were translated into other languages. His translations included works by Steve Brusatte, Charles King, and Liesl Clark, as well as Mario Bortolotto’s “Wagner. Das Dunkle.” In 2007, he received the Hamburg Translator’s Prize.
