After studying modern history, Karl Heinz Siber began translating mainly historical works from English in 1978. During the 1980s, he also wrote columns and articles for the monthly magazine “TransAtlantik,” edited by Hans Magnus Enzensberger, and book reviews for the “Süddeutsche Zeitung.” Among the nonfiction authors whose works he translated are Neil Gregor, Charles King, George Dyson, and Mark Jones.
