Nicole Steyer

Nicole Steyer was born in Bad Aibling in 1978 and grew up in Rosenheim. After moving to Idstein, she studied the history of the town and its surrounding area. This research led to her first historical novel, The Witch of Nassau, about the witch trials in and around Idstein. Under the pen name Linda Winterberg, she published numerous historical novels and sagas, including The House of Lost Children, The Children of the Northern Lights, the Midwives Saga and the Winzerhof Saga.
