Ulrike Renk (born 1967) is a German author. She studied literature and media studies and has written numerous historical novels, including the Australia, East Prussia and Silk City sagas, as well as the Berlin saga about the poet family Dehmel. Her historical novel *Die Australierin*, based on true events, brought her to the attention of a broad readership. She has also written crime fiction and short stories, and co-authored the novels *Schokolade ist auch nur Gemüse* and *Salat muss durchs Kaninchen* with Silke Porath.
