Michael Ramminger

Michael Ramminger (born 1960) holds a doctorate in theology. He was a student and collaborator of the theologian Johann Baptist Metz at the University of Münster’s Faculty of Catholic Theology and was among the co-founders of the Institute for Theology and Politics in Münster. Ramminger has published and edited numerous works on liberation theology, political theology, social movements, globalization and neoliberalism. He also served as a guest lecturer or guest professor at the University of Goiás in Brazil and as a member of the editorial advisory board of the journal Caminhos. Among his publications is the volume Alle Verhältnisse umzuwerfen ... und die Mächtigen vom Thron zu stürzen, co-edited with Franz Segbers in 2018.
