Michael Mantel

Michael Mantel (born 1977) studied communication design at HTK Hamburg. After working in advertising, he became a storyboard artist in animated film and contributed to feature films including *Urmel aus dem Eis*, *The Conference of the Animals*, and *Happy Family*. In 2003, he became a freelance illustrator, working for publishers, advertising agencies, and live events in Germany and abroad. He has also illustrated and written children’s books.
