Almud Kunert

Almud Kunert, born in Bayreuth in 1964, initially lived and studied in Paris. She subsequently studied painting and graphic art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. From the early 1990s onward, she worked as a freelance illustrator for various publishers and advertising agencies. She illustrated numerous children’s books, including Josie Eckstein – Aufbruch ins Abenteuer and Josie Eckstein – Mit Pauken und Trompeten by Katja Samt, as well as Vertragt euch – Zwei kleine Bären schlichten einen großen Streit by Katja Reider.
