Mathias Weber

Mathias Weber, born in 1967 in Esslingen am Neckar, studied graphic design and initially worked for an advertising agency in Frankfurt. He later worked as a freelance illustrator and graphic artist specializing in children’s books. He became known, among other things, for the picture-book series featuring Jim Button and Luke the Engine Driver, as well as for coloring F. J. Tripp’s drawings in books by Otfried Preußler.
