Mathias Brodkorb

Born in 1977, Mathias Brodkorb studied philosophy and Ancient Greek, including at the University of Rostock. From 2002 to 2019, he was a member of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania state parliament for the Social Democratic Party (SPD). From 2011 to 2016, he served as the state’s Minister for Education, Science and Culture, followed by a term as Minister of Finance until 2019. His publications include *Der Abiturbetrug.
