Markus Stumpf is an academic librarian. At the University of Vienna, he headed the Departmental Library for Contemporary History and the university library’s Nazi-era provenance research. He was a co-editor of the “Bibliothek im Kontext” series and published, among other topics, on provenance research and restitution in libraries, as well as the remembrance and restitution of Guido Adler’s legacy at the University of Vienna.
