Martin Haller

Martin Haller is a journalist and nonfiction author. From 1992 onward, he published books on animals—including horses, dogs, cattle and livestock—as well as sport and British history. Around 20 nonfiction books have been published under his name. His work has focused in particular on horse breeds of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. Haller also worked as a historian and tourism professional, served internationally as a judge of pony breeds and as a lecturer, and supported youth equestrian sport and the breeding of Shetland ponies. His articles appeared in around 30 magazines, including St. Georg, Reiter Revue and Pferderevue.
