Catherine Liu

Catherine Liu earned her doctorate at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York and worked at the University of Minnesota. She taught film and media studies at the University of California, Irvine. Her writing addresses critical theory, populism, anti-intellectualism in academia, psychoanalysis, class formation, and Marxism. Her books include *Die Tugendpächter: Wie sich eine neue Klasse mit Moral tarnt und Solidarität verrät*.
