Maria Bogade studied Audiovisual Media at the Stuttgart Media University. After graduating, she initially worked in animation before turning to illustration around 2010/2011. She worked as a freelance illustrator and author for international clients. Her illustrations appeared in picture books and games, as well as on chocolate packaging and greeting cards.
