Manuela Olten

Manuela Olten (born 1970) studied visual communication with a focus on children’s book illustration at the Offenbach University of Art and Design. She works as a children’s book illustrator and photographer. Her first picture book, “Echte Kerle,” was published in 2004 and received the Oldenburg Children’s and Young People’s Book Prize; it was also nominated for the German Youth Literature Prize. Another well-known book by Olten is “Muss mal Pipi.”
