Ben Becker (born 1964 in Bremen) is a German actor. He grew up in a family of actors and appeared in radio plays as a child. He made his film debut in 1983 in “A Love in Germany,” alongside his stepfather Otto Sander, while still working as a stagehand. He became known for roles in films including “Schlafes Bruder,” “Comedian Harmonists,” “Marlene,” and “Sass.” After making his stage debut at Hamburg’s Ernst Deutsch Theater in 1993, he appeared in numerous theatrical productions. His acting has earned him, among other honors, the Grimme-Preis, the Golden Camera, and the Golden Curtain Award.
