Heike Karau

Heike Karau is a qualified social worker, child and adolescent therapist, and trauma educator. For many years, she supported children, adolescents, and their families at a prevention and specialist counseling center for victims of sexualized violence. From 2010 onward, she worked as a lecturer at the Center for Trauma Education in Hanau and was part of its leadership team. Her work focused in particular on destigmatizing sexualized violence through public outreach and expanding counseling services.
