Manfred Komorowski

Manfred Komorowski was born in Wattenscheid in 1948. He studied Romance languages and literature, Hispanic studies, and sports science in Bochum, Strasbourg, and Salamanca. From 1974 onward, he worked in the senior academic library service and, from 1977, served as a subject specialist for various humanities disciplines at the University Library of Duisburg, which became part of the University Library of Duisburg-Essen in 2003. His areas of focus included the history of books, libraries, and universities.
