Angela Schwarz

Angela Schwarz, born in 1958, is a historian with a doctorate in social and economic history. In 2006, she became professor of modern and contemporary history at the University of Siegen. Her research focuses on the history of Hamburg’s Jewish population in the 19th and 20th centuries, particularly Jewish foundations. Her publications include “Streitfall Evolution. Eine Kulturgeschichte” (2017).
