Maja Kevdzija

Maja Kevdzija holds a doctorate in engineering and works in architectural research. She was a research associate at TU Dresden’s chair for social and healthcare buildings and has worked in healthcare design. Her research focuses on the relationship between the built environment of healthcare facilities and their users, as well as on empirical methods in architecture. Her study of mobility-supportive rehabilitation clinics for stroke patients received several awards, including the 2021 European Healthcare Design Award, the 2021 EDRA Certificate of Research Excellence with Merit Status, and a commendation for the 2021 research prize of the Fürst Donnersmarck Foundation.
