Lyliane Sznajder studied Classical Philology, linguistics and Hebrew studies at the École Normale Supérieure in Paris, where she completed a doctorate on parataxis in Latin. Until 2010, she taught Latin linguistics as a Maître de Conférences at Université Paris Nanterre. Her research focuses on indirect discourse, syntax and the semantics of the Vulgate in comparison with its Hebrew and Greek biblical source languages.
