Anna Persig studied Classical Philology and Ancient History at the University of Pisa, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in 2014 and a master’s degree in 2016. She received her doctorate in New Testament Studies from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom in 2021. She subsequently held a postdoctoral fellowship at the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies at KU Leuven in Belgium.
