Leopold Maurer

Leopold Maurer was born in Vienna in 1969. He studied sociology at the University of Vienna and painting and graphic art at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. From 1998 onward, he worked as a freelance artist in animation, cartoons, comics and illustration. His graphic novels include “Miller & Pynchon” (2009), “Mann am Mars” (2011), “Kanal” (2014), “Der Sturm” (2016), “Blad” (2018) and “Insekten” (2019).
