Kostja Ullmann, born in Hamburg in 1984, is a German actor. He appeared on stage at Hamburg’s Ernst Deutsch Theater at the age of eleven. He subsequently took roles in television series such as “Alphateam,” “Stubbe – Von Fall zu Fall,” “SOKO Leipzig,” and “Tatort,” as well as in films including “Summer Storm” (2003), “Reassignment” (2007), and “The Wild Chicks and Life” (2008). For his performance in the television film “Heimliche Liebe,” he received the Günter Strack Television Award in 2006. His further honors included the New Faces Award and the GQ Award for “Shooting Star – Man of the Year” in 2007, followed by the Goldene Feder in 2008. He also voiced Tom Sawyer in the audio drama “Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn.”
