Konstanze Fliedl

Konstanze Fliedl studied German literature, art history and theology in Vienna. She undertook research stays in Marbach, Cambridge, Yale and Harvard. In 1997, she completed her habilitation with the study “Arthur Schnitzler. Poetik der Erinnerung.” She held guest professorships in Berlin, Zurich and Barcelona and taught modern German literature as a professor at the University of Salzburg from 2002 onward. Fliedl published numerous works of literary criticism and edited, among other books, “Österreichische Erzählerinnen,” “Das andere Österreich,” “Judentum und Antisemitismus,” and volumes on Arthur Schnitzler and Andreas Okopenko.
