Klaus Kempe

Klaus Kempe was born in East Germany in 1949 and moved to Hamburg in 1957. He studied in Hamburg, spent periods in France and the United States, and worked in adult education as well as in the real-estate industry for many years. He published as an author under the pseudonym Robert Lynn. His novel *Die Meute im Nacken* was nominated for the Glauser Prize, and *Der Samurai im Elbberg* received the Marlowe Prize.
