Carmen Korn

Carmen Korn (born 1952 in Düsseldorf) is a German writer and journalist. The daughter of composer Heinz Korn, she trained at the Henri-Nannen School and subsequently worked as an editor, including for the magazine Stern. Her first novel, Thea und Nat, was adapted for film. She received the Marlowe Prize for her crime story Tod in Harvestehude. In 2004, she was awarded the Friedrich Glauser Prize for the best German-language short story of 2003, Unter Partisanen.
