Kathrin Oxen

Kathrin Oxen (born 1972 in Neustadt in Holstein, Germany) is a Protestant pastor and author. She studied Protestant theology in Wuppertal and Berlin and served as a pastor of the Evangelical Reformed Church in Mecklenburg-Bützow from 2004 to early 2012. From 2012, she headed the EKD Centre for Evangelical Worship and Preaching Culture in Wittenberg; she later served as pastor at the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church in Berlin. Oxen wrote and edited resources for preaching and produced devotional broadcasts for MDR, Deutschlandradio Kultur, Deutschlandfunk Kultur, and rbb. In 2009, she received the Preaching Prize in the “Best Sermon” category.
