Christopher Spehr

Christopher Spehr (born 1971) studied Protestant theology in Bethel, Tübingen, and Zurich. He received a doctorate in theology from the University of Münster in 2004 and completed his habilitation in church history in 2009. After working as a research associate in Münster and as a substitute professor in Bochum and Jena, he took up a professorship in church history at the Faculty of Theology of Friedrich Schiller University Jena in 2011.
