Katharina Meyer

Katharina Meyer, born in 1979 in Bersenbrück, studied literary translation in Düsseldorf and Santiago de Compostela. She translated novels and nonfiction from English, Spanish, and French into German. Among the works she translated is Fiston Mwanza Mujila’s “Tram 83,” for which she received the International Literature Award in 2017. In 2021, she received the recognition prize of the Zug Translation Scholarship for her translation of Mujila’s “The Dance of the Devils.”
