Julika Brandestini

Julika Brandestini, born in Berlin in 1980, studied cultural studies in Frankfurt (Oder), Almería and Macerata. From 2008 onward, she worked as a freelance translator and editor. The authors she translated include Michela Murgia, Elena Ferrante and Michele Serra. For her translation of Michela Murgia’s novel *Accabadora*, she received the funding or emerging-translator award of the German-Italian Translation Prize.
