Juliane Laimer completed degree programmes in nutritional sciences and in teacher education for home economics/nutrition and chemistry at the University of Vienna. She gained practical experience through internships in various state laboratories and through work in quality assurance and product development. From 2013 onward, she worked as a teacher, sharing her specialist knowledge in the classroom. Her focus is on nutrition education and the accessible communication of current scientific knowledge.
