John Boyne

John Boyne, born in 1971 in Dublin, is an Irish writer. He primarily writes novels, which have been translated into more than forty languages and received numerous international awards. His international breakthrough came with The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, which became a worldwide bestseller, won several book prizes and was adapted into a film in 2008.
