Jens Wawrczeck

Jens Wawrczeck (born in Denmark in 1963) trained as an actor in Hamburg, Vienna and New York. He worked as an actor, audiobook and dubbing speaker, dubbing scriptwriter and dialogue director in theatre, film, television and numerous audio productions. He became particularly well known as the German voice of Peter Shaw in the audio drama series The Three Investigators, which he joined in 1979. Wawrczeck also recorded numerous audiobooks and, through his audobook edition audoba and stage programs, explored the literature behind Alfred Hitchcock’s films. He released his debut album as a singer in 2020. His work received several awards, including the BEO Children’s Audiobook Award in 2014 and the Special Prize of the German Audiobook Award in 2016.
