Anna Thalbach, born in East Berlin in 1973, is a German actress and audiobook narrator. She has worked at theatres including Hamburg’s Thalia Theater, Schauspielhaus Zürich and Berlin’s Maxim Gorki Theatre, and appeared in numerous film and television productions, including “Krabat,” “The Baader Meinhof Complex” and “Downfall.” Her acting has earned her several awards, including the German Television Award. She has also received multiple honors for her audiobook work, including the German Audiobook Award for Best Performer in 2008.
