Jens Rassmus

Jens Rassmus (born 1967) studied illustration in Hamburg and Dundee, Scotland. As an author and illustrator, he has published numerous children’s books and received several awards, including the Austrian Children’s and Young People’s Book Prize three times. In 2018, he received the Children’s Book Prize of North Rhine-Westphalia for *King kommt noch*, written by Andrea Karimé. He was nominated for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award in 2022 and 2023. *Regentag* is his first wordless picture book.
