Jennifer Dummer

Jennifer Dummer is a freelance journalist, translator and mediator of Québécois culture in the German-speaking world. She studied French literary studies in Mainz, Berlin and Montréal and was a Goldschmidt scholarship holder in 2019. Her translations include works by Joséphine Bacon, David Goudreault and Marie-Anne Legault. In 2020, she edited the bilingual anthology “Pareil, mais différent – Genauso, nur anders,” featuring short stories by French-Canadian and Québécois authors. In 2015, she founded the event series “Book and you.”
