Franziska Humphreys, born in 1987, studied comparative literature, art history and Romance studies in Tübingen, Munich and Paris. In 2014, she received her doctorate from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and Université Paris Diderot. She served as coordinator of the Goethe-Institut’s Europanetzwerk Deutsch in Brussels and took over the management of the Maison Heinrich Heine in Paris in 2023. Her publications include *Im Antlitz der Sprache. Michel Foucaults Schriften zur Literatur (1961–1969)* (2016).
