Jacky Gleich

Jacky Gleich was born in Darmstadt in 1964 and grew up near Berlin. She studied animation at the Babelsberg film school and ran her own animated-film studio from 1993 to 1997. She illustrated more than 60 books for children and adults and also worked on animated films. Her work has received numerous awards, including the German Youth Literature Prize for »Hat Opa einen Anzug an?« (text by Amelie Fried, 1997) and the Gustav Heinemann Peace Prize.
